TONGABEZI LODGE

Tongabezi is set on a hidden bend in the Zambezi River just 12km upstream of Victoria Falls and has certainly evolved from its early beginnings in 1990.

The main lodge includes several relaxation areas - the lookout, the hangout and the river deck as well as dining spaces, gardens, a pool and a gym.

There are five River Cottages, and a range of houses including one open-fronted thatched Tree House, three enclosed Houses (Nut House and Bird House and Honeymoon House with private plunge pool). One enclosed, double bedroomed (Dog House, sleeping 4) with plunge pool and the Garden House (without river views) which has two separate bedrooms, a living room and plunge pool - perfect for a family with children.

There are many on site activities including sunrise and sunset river cruises, fishing, dinner on a floating sampan - river levels and weather permitting and electric dhow cruises. Other activities include game drives in the national park, village and museum tours and all the Falls adventure activities.
