The hotel is set within two meticulously restored heritage buildings in the heart of Stone Town on the seafront.  It has been designed to reflect centuries of African, Arabian, and Indian Ocean influence with a rich tapestry of culture, history, tradition, and Swahili charm.

There are 51 rooms – a combination of standard rooms, ocean-front rooms, executive suites and a honeymoon suite.

There are several restaurants - Baharia Restaurant, the Terrace Restaurant, the Masahani Bar, Oceanfront Pool Deck  and private dining options.

The Chaza Conference Room accommodates up to 40 guests and is fully equipped for seamless smalls cale meetings with flexible seating arrangements and modern presentation facilities.

Local activities and excursions are easily arranged – including guided Stone Town heritage walks spice farm immersions and  Prison Island excursions.
