KAYILA CAMP
This eco lodge is in the centre of the newly formed Kavango-Zambezi Transfrontier Conservation Area and was designed to replicate traditional Batswana style buildings.
There are eleven ensuite thatched chalets individually styled and themed to reflect the rich and diverse local tapestry. The rooms were built to allow as much natural lighting in – minimizing the need for artificial lighting, and allowing for trees to be left un-spoilt, with outdoor rain showers.
Activities include game drives in the Kazuma forest reserve, cultural excursions to Pandamatenga, and agricultural experiences – also at Pandamatenga. Traditional evenings are also part of the lodge experience.
Extra activities on offer are full day trips into Chobe National Park with a morning river cruise and afternoon game drive, day trips to Hwange National Park in Zimbabwe, and day trips to Victoria Falls.
Children: all ages welcome
Open: all year round
