The Peech is 12 km from the city centre on a private thoroughbred racehorse breeding estate. Home to the Peech family since 1912 the hotel is set in a 95 acre riverside valley; and the rooms have been reconstructed out of old stables that stand as a tribute to the many fine racehorses bred here. It is still very much a working horse farm.

There are 19 rooms ranging from budget, classic, superior and a suite. 

The hotel has a large dining hall, bar and lounge area and a conference centre for 50. It is the ideal spot for corporate meetings and private events.

There are several leisure activities on offer - boule, or croquet, walks, and catch & release fishing in the dam - stocked with black bass and bream.
