KAYILA CAMP

This secluded vineyard retreat is nestled at the foot of Chapman’s Peak in the Noordhoek Amphitheatre. The estate has a poignant history starting with Alexander Moir, a Capetonian boilermaker, buying Good Hope Farm in 1960. Financial pressure forces him to sell in 1969, but the land is bought back by his grandson in 2020, and the vineyard and luxury estate develops over several years – opening its doors in 2025.

There are only ten luxury suites, with six of them at the Alexander Manor House and the remaining four at the Vineyard Villa, (one being a penthouse), each with private heated plunge pools (in 8 of the 10 suites) and log-burning fireplaces.

There are many onsite activities - sunrise yoga on the Cellar master's Deck, afternoon picnics by Echo Dam, sunset with cocktails and canapés beside the infinity pool at the elegant Kakapo bar.  Wine and oyster pairing, private wine tasting of the Alexander wines, whiskey tastings or guided e-bikes tours to explore the Noordhoek Village.

The Vineyard Spa offers various treatments and has sauna and steam room; and a gym.

There is a strong focus on elevated dining experiences – from the vineyard picnics to elegant multi-course evenings at the Chef’s Table and an outdoor braai offering.

There is a concierge service onsite for additional activities.
