KAYILA CAMP
Mala Mala Game Reserve - a pioneering private reserve that helped shape South Africa’s modern low-impact photographic safari model in the 1950’s - sits directly between Sabi Sand and Kruger National Park.
Mala Mala Camp is one of the region’s original safari camps and is a classic camp with the original charm typical of the ‘pioneer safari’ days. There are 10 luxury suites and 8 luxury rooms and one solo suite.
The thatched rooms either face the watering hole or overlook the water-rich flood plains of the Sand River. The main lodge has a large deck under a sprawling Jackalberry tree, indoor and outdoor dining, the Buffalo Bar; and a pool, spa and gym.
Activities include game drives and seasonal bush walks.
Children: all ages welcome
Open: year round
