Tucked into a secluded valley below the Korannaberg mountains, Tarkuni is Tswalu’s exclusive-use private homestead, with accommodation for up to 10 guests across five spacious suites, all under one roof. The suites all have a freestanding bath, and indoor and outdoor showers.

This thatched homestead includes an open-plan lounge, dining room and bar with a central fireplace, a mezzanine-level media room, and a spa treatment suite. Generous spaces for outdoor dining and relaxation include a deep verandah, plunge pool, fire pit, and a boma with low, stone-packed walls for starlit fireside dinners. 

For a secluded night out - Malori, meaning ‘dreamer’ in Setswana, is Tswalu’s under-canvas experience overlooking the rolling dunes and the vast veld stretching to the horizon. It is a classic safari tent, with twin beds, elevated above the dunes with an outdoor bathroom - under the stars. 

Activities include game drives, bush walks, meerkat experiences and horse riding.
