Spurwing Island is a 20km boat transfer from Kariba mainland and is just off the shoreline of the Matusadona National Park. It is an old favourite for many Zimbabweans - having opened its doors in 1980.

There are three different styles of relaxed home-style accommodation - chalets, cabins and tents, all set under shady trees. Usually catering for up to 40 guests but this can be increased for special events.

Activities include game drives, walking safaris , boating and fishing.

Children: all ages welcome (no under 16 on walks)
