The 24,000 acre Sosian Conservancy sits in the heart of Laikipia, and the lodge is within the Offbeat Safaris portfolio. 

The original ranch house was built in the 1940’s by Italian artisans and has been beautifully restored; it is made up of a large sitting room, dining room, bar and billiards room, with an expansive wrap around veranda.

There are three double and four twin cottages dotted throughout the gardens, and a 2 bedroomed family cottage, and the Italian Cottage (honeymoon cottage), which is set in its own private garden.

The lodge has a swimming pool, tennis court, organic vegetable garden, and a stable yard of 30 safari horses. 

Activities include game drives,  guided bush walks, horse riding safaris, camel trekking, cycling, fishing, river tubing  and seasonal fly-camping.
