Serondella, meaning "place of the elephants," is a luxury boutique safari lodge in the mid-section of Thornybush Game Reserve, part of the Greater Kruger region, with 12,000-hectares to traverse and explore. 

The thatched lodge is set along the edge of the waterhole and follows a small, dry riverbed - a tributary of the seasonal Monwana River; the fever-tree garden opens onto a viewing deck with rim-flow pool, and there is a boma and fire pit, lounge, and indoor and outdoor dining areas. The lodge has a modern gym (and yoga sessions) and a spa. 

There are two double suites with private decks and plunge pools, and two family suites with lounges, viewing decks & plunge pools. Wilem’s Den is a 3bedroom villa with lounge, boma, private garden and verandah and plunge pool.

Activities include game drives and bush walks.

Scenic helicopter flights, conservation experiences and bush picnics can easily be arranged – and tracking activities for kids.
