KAYILA CAMP
In the Natural Selections portfolio, the minimalist San Camp sits at the edge of the salt pans overlooking Nwetwe Pan.
The main area is under white open-sided pavilion canvas shaded by desert palms, housing the lounge and dining sections. Interesting cabinets hold eclectic collections of old maps, fossils and artefacts and there is a tented pool pavilion and deck area.
The seven ensuite guest tents comprise of 4 twins, 2 doubles and 1 family tent, each styled with four-poster beds, over Persian rugs, mahogany writing desks and leather armchairs.
Activities include game drives, walks with the bushmen, quad biking, horse riding, meerkat experiences and a sleep out under the stars on the Makgadikgadi Salt Pans in the winter months; and the area experiences an amazing zebra and wildebeest migration from January through April. Scenic helicopter flights can be arranged to take in the area from the air.
Children: all ages welcome
Open: 1 April – 15 October
