KAYILA CAMP

Onguma is a 35,970-hectare private nature reserve that borders the eastern edge of Etosha National Park. Its name means "the place you don't want to leave" in the local Herero language.

This dramatic Moroccan-Afro designed lodge is set amongst camelthorn trees with views towards Etosha and Fisher's Pan. The main complex has a huge tower dominating the structure which houses the lounge, dining and bar areas. There is a pool, spa options and the Onkolo (photographic) Hide.

There are 11 Bush Suites and 1 honeymoon Suite, extending on both sides of the main Fort to the south and the north. Each suite is completely private and about 50 meters apart from one another with inside shower and outside showers and private viewing decks.

In addition, the Sultan Suite is inside the Main Tower of the main complex and has a lounge area and a small private viewing deck; and the Dream Cruiser is a sleep-out option in a custom built 2 level land cruiser.

Activities include game drives and walks on Onguma and drives into Etosha.
