KAYILA CAMP
Onguma is a 35,970-hectare private nature reserve that borders the eastern edge of Etosha National Park. Its name means "the place you don't want to leave" in the local Herero language.
The camp is on the eastern side of the reserve near the Von Lindequist Gate in to Etosha. The main area is under canvas and houses the lounge, bar and dining sections as well as a rim-flow swimming pool overlooking the active waterhole.
There are 7 tented suites with wood-fired hot tubs on the deck, alongside an indoor and outdoor bath and shower.
Guests may access the Onguma Onkolo (photographic) Hide, and the sleep-out option in the Dream Cruiser is available here too, as are spa treatments.
Activities include game drives and walks on Onguma and drives into Etosha.
Children: no under 12
