‘Ngare’ translates to ‘by the river’ in the Masai language, and this snug little camp is on the water’s edge; it can only be reached on foot, over a narrow rope bridge. It is set in the private Mara North Conservancy, within 1,500 acres of exclusive conservation area.

There are 4 large guests tents set on hardwood decking with an adjoining bush bathroom overlooking the river. The comfortable under canvas mess area overlooks the river and Siria escarpment.

Activities include game drives and bush walks. Hot air balloon safaris are also available and there are fly camping options.
