KAYILA CAMP

The lodge is perched on the rim of Lake Nyinambuga in the Kasenda Crater area – about 40 mins from Kibale National Park. This owner run lodge is known for its hospitality and cuisine and has been in the family since it opened in 1996.

There is a swimming pool, sauna and gym and in-room massages.

There are nine cottages, including a honeymoon unit,  - all west facing looking out across the Ndali Estate where vanilla, coffee, and cardamom are grown amongst the indigenous forest.

Onsite activities include walks on the farm, around the lake and birding walks. There are inflatable canoes and paddleboards for use on the lake. Further afield – chimp trekking in Kibale and walks through Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary.
