KAYILA CAMP
Mwamba Bush Camp has four chalets that sit along the Mwamba River which dries out as the season progresses. There is an in-camp hide, the Last Waterhole Hide, in addition to the access to the Sheton Safaris network of photographic hides.
The bush-style “chitenge” central area is set under the deep shade of huge ebony trees, and the spacious deck offers views of the Mwamba River.
This rustic woven bamboo and reed camp is recreated each year.
Guests have the opportunity to sleep out on the Numbu Star Bed built on a viewing platform in the centre of Numbu Plains.
Activities include game drives and walking safaris.
Children: no under 12 (younger children on request and on an exclusive camp basis)
Open: 18 May - 1 November
