Set on a private 15 km stretch of the Zambezi River, 40 km upriver from the rush and spray of the Victoria Falls, Matetsi sits in its own 136,000-acre wilderness - the Matetsi Private Game Reserve.

Family-owned and independently run, Matetsi has 16 suites, 2 family suites and an exclusive-use 4-bedroomed private villa. The family suites consist of a master suite and children’s room connected via an enclosed passageway. The private villa has a dedicated team, including private chef and butler and a private safari vehicle.

The main area houses the lounge and dining sections, a wine cellar, fitness centre, pool and spa.

Activities include game drives, safari walks and river cruises from the lodge, and excursions into town for tours of the Falls and any adventure options.
