Lukimbi is situated in the southern section of the Kruger National Park, one of only 7 private concessions with 15 000 hectares private traverse area. The area is bounded by 3 major river systems offering a diverse array of habitats. It was named after the elusive legendary Lukimbi, half lion and half eagle owl.

The lodge has 16 Suites (14 Classic Suites and 2 Premier Suites – and both room types can convert to family rooms) all set along the Lwakahle River and are connected to the main lodge via raised wooden walkways. 

The main lodge has multi-levelled relaxation decks, indoor and outdoor dining, a spa, gym and pool.

Activities include game drives and seasonal bush walks. 

There is a children’s program for kids; and guests can play golf at Leopard Creek Country Club – outside the park in Malelane (45 min drive).
