KAYILA CAMP
The small town of Livingstone stands as an entry point to Victoria Falls as well as to the surrounding Zambezi region. There are a plethora of activities on offer including:
Livingstone Island - perched on the edge of the Falls; visits to the island include guided tours, seasonal swimming in Devil's Pool, Angel's Pool or Rock Pool, and gourmet dining.
The Elephant Cafe – an exclusive tented restaurant set on a wooden deck on the Zambezi River, upstream from Livingstone. The kitchen and restaurant are run by the talented Annabel Hughes and her teram. Her food is prepared using fresh local ingredients, with a strong focus on wild edibles, her menu changing with the seasons.
The riverside location is home to a herd of hand-reared elephants and guests have the opportunity to interact with the elephants before sitting down to eat their meal.
Adventure activities include whitewater rafting, canoeing – on the upper Zambezi River, bungee jumping – off the 111 meter high Victoria Falls Bridge, abseiling and gorge swings, kayaking, micro lighting and helicopter flips over the Falls.
