Lion Sands is the only private reserve spanning both the Sabi Sand Nature Reserve and Kruger National Park, set along 13 miles of the Sabie River. It falls within the More Properties portfolio.

River Lodge sits on the Sabie River with 18 rooms and suites that stretch along the water's edge.

The main lodge connects to the guest accommodation along wooden paths and houses the indoor and outdoor lounge, dining and bar area as well as a spa, gym and pool. There is an extensive deck looking out over the river.

There are 8 Luxury Rooms, 6 Superior Luxury Rooms and 4 River Suites – the latter with plunge pools are set further away from the main lodge and include a Family Suite. 

There is also the option of a night under the stars in the Chalkley or Kingston treehouses.

Activities include game drives and seasonal bush walks.
