Lion Sands is the only private reserve spanning both the Sabi Sand Nature Reserve and Kruger National Park, set along 13 miles of the Sabie River. It falls within the More Properties portfolio.

The guest areas include a private bar with fireplace, a library lounge, a well-stocked wine cellar, wooden viewing decks, a magnificent River Island Deck built on the river, spa, Fitness Centre, Artist in Residence, Botanical House, and both an indoor dining room and open-air, traditional Boma dining area.

The lodge’s eight one-bedroom Villas, set at the confluence of the Sabie and Sand rivers, are the ultimate bush retreats - with private lounge, patio, deck and pool.

The lodge also includes the three-bedroom Fish Eagle Residence  - with private pool and spa, personal chef, field guide and game viewer vehicle.

There is also the option of a night under the stars in the Chalkley or Kingston treehouses.

Activities include game drives and seasonal bush walks.
