KAYILA CAMP
This Lemala tented camp is set in ancient acacia forest close to the quiet Lemala crater access road on the eastern side of the Crater Wall, meaning an earlier start and later departure from the crater than the busier Seneto crater access road on the western rim.
The central mess tent houses the lounge and dining sections and overlooks the campfire.
The camp has access to a special private picnic site on the cater floor for fully catered lunches.
There are 10 tents – one is a 2 bedroomed tent for families – all with en-suite flush toilet and hot showers.
Activities include game drives in the crater and escorted walks into the forest and along the crater rim with an armed ranger and Maasai guide. There is a children’s activity program.
