In the heart of the Jao reserve, in the northwest of the delta, on a palm-fringed island, covered with mangosteen and fig trees lies Kwetsani. 

The main area includes a dining room and lounge under a cool thatched roof that leads onto an expansive wooden deck that looks out over the floodplain. There is a plunge pool to cool off in the heat of the day.

There are five elevated treehouse-style tented suites with private decks set high among the trees with views over the floodplain . 

Activities include game drives, walking safaris and seasonal boating, fishing and mokoro rides.
