KAYILA CAMP
Ker & Downey Zambia’s King Lewanika Lodge is built on the edge of an ancient, forested woodland, on the fringe of the seemingly endless grasslands of Liuwa Plain. It is set in the southern end of the plain
The award winning architectural design includes five luxury tents and one family tent that are spacious and open fronted with a veranda overlooking the plains. The rooms have several seating areas from which to scan the plains. The central unit houses a lounge dining and bar area.
Game drive vehicles have a roof top vista seat, and the camp offers all day drives with a sleep-out experience when the wildebeest migration moves north. Canoeing is also an activity of offer here as well as a cultural immersion half daytrip (to Kalabo Town).
The camp has a spa therapist on site for some in-house pampering.
The camp has a minimum three night stay policy.
