QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK

Heading 1

KAYILA CAMP

This wilderness camp is just off the northern circuit game viewing track in the Ishasha section of the park - well known for its tree climbing lions. It is set alongside the Ntungwe River within the riverine forest.

The thatched central lounge and dining area is a cosy and relaxed space, although meals are often served ‘al fresco’ beside the river.

The ten tent stylised rooms have private verandahs overlooking the river, with hot ‘bush’ showers, running water for hand-basins and a flushing ‘eco-friendly’ toilet.

Activities include game drive and nature walks, boat cruises on the Kazinga Channel, community tours & visits and chimpanzee trekking in Kyambura Gorge.

Children: all ages welcome

Open: year round
