This A&K Sanctuary lodge is situated on a hillside overlooking the jungle canopy within Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. 

The main lodge area has an indoor-outdoor lounge bar and restaurant space overlooking the rainforest, the Explorer’s Lounge stocked with maps and a selection of books on the flora, fauna and culture of Bwindi and Uganda. There is a spa with two treatment rooms overlooking a stream for facials and massages.

Guests are supplied with Leica binoculars and there are spotting scopes on the decks.

Each of the 10 standalone suites has floor-to-ceiling windows, a private viewing deck with swing chairs handmade in Uganda; Bathrooms have huge round hammam-like baths (and indoor showers), under chandeliers of beads handmade by women in the neighbouring village.

Activities include gorilla treks, jungle walks and Bwindi community tours.
