KAYILA CAMP
A Natural Section camp, following the theme of Jack’s Camp in the Makgadikgadi Pans, in the northern delta -
a rich habitat of savannah woodlands, seasonal floodplains and permanent waterways.
The main mess area includes a small comfy lounge, library and dining area, with a 24-seater vintage dining
table often placed under the leadwood trees; and there is a swimming pool, with its own pavilion.
There are 8 stylish canvas tents on raised wooden decks, under shady trees with views of the floodplain. The rooms follow the vintage safari aesthetic of plush fabrics, Persian rugs and hand-carved four poster beds. There are 5 twins, 2 doubles and 1 family unit (with its own plunge pool) - each with an ensuite bathroom, indoor and outdoor showers, plus a private veranda.
Activities include game drives, seasonal boating and mokoro rides, rock art excursions and community visits. Scenic helicopter flights are easily arranged (at an additional cost).
Children: no under 6
Open: year round
