A Newmark hotel, the Dock House is in the V&A Waterfront, alongside the Time Ball Tower, offering a balance between convenience and complete privacy. Originally the Harbour Master’s private residence in the 1800s the boutique hotel retains its Victorian charm with chandeliers and ornate ceiling cornices, among other fine touches. 

There are just five elegant rooms and one spacious suite – all individually decorated with understated Victorian elegance. Three of the four upstairs Luxury Rooms have balconies with views of the bustling harbour and waterfront, while the one ground-floor room opens onto a veranda overlooking the manicured garden and swimming pool.

There is a fully equipped gym, located next to Sanctuary Signature Spa. 

The hotel has a morning room for breakfasts but does not have its own dedicated restaurant for other meals – these are enjoyed at sister properties such as the Queen Victoria Hotel or Victoria & Alfred Hotel.
