The camp is located in the private 7600 acre Olderkesi Conservancy, leased from the Maasai community, on the border of the Maasai Mara and Tanzania's Serengeti – and is managed by the fifth-generation Cottar family.

There are eleven luxurious tented suites in vintage 1920s style - five double tents, four spacious family tents (with a central living area and two en-suite bedrooms), and two romantic honeymoon tents. 

Honeymoon suite Kiboko has a wood-fired hot tub, indoor and outdoor showers, a dressing area, and a sweeping deck. Honeymoon tent Molo has an outdoor bathtub on its expansive deck.

The five double suite - Duma, Swala, Ndovu, Athi, and Kudu all have expansive decks, and some have day beds. The family tents have a dedicated guide and  private vehicle.

The central mess tent is set on a hilltop overlooking the rolling savannahs and houses the various lounge and dining areas. There is a swimming pool  along with the Pavilion with a bar, dining room, lounge and verandah. There is also a gym tent and spa tent.

The Explorer tent has cabinets of curiosities, species and specimens,  safari themed books and cultural artifacts.

Activities include game drives, bush walks, medicinal foraging walks and children’s programs.

Hot air balloon safaris and conservation helicopter flights are also available as are cultural excursions.
