KAYILA CAMP
Chundu Island, part of the Seolo Africa portfolio, is 21km upstream from Victoria Falls in the Zambezi National Park. This teardrop shaped island in the Zambezi River is approximately 1.4km long and at its widest point approximately 0.4km.
The camp is set under shady trees, and the main area houses the reception, lounge, bar, pool deck and indoor/outdoor dining areas. Ilala palm roofs, wooden decking and canvas walls create a fresh, contemporary island feel.
There are 8 River View Suites – 6 rooms are either double or twin rooms with a private deck and en-suite bathroom; and 2 are two bedroomed family rooms (with a shared bathroom).
Activities include game drives, walking safaris, river cruises, fishing, canoeing and visits to Victoria Falls.
Children: no under 6
Open: year round
