Established in 1973, this pioneering and vibrant lodge is set on the Chobe River and is the only permanent lodge inside Chobe National Park. 

The lodge is set under a grove of shady mahogany trees and there are several lounges, bars and indoor and outdoor dining areas and a main pool.  There is a gym and spa and conference facilities and a 250 boardwalk along the river. The lodge is wheelchair friendly  and has electric vehicles and solar powered boats and an all-female guiding team.

There are 40 spacious guest rooms and four suites – each with its own private terrace overlooking the river. The suites have their own infinity plunge pools facing the river.

Activities include game drives, walking safaris and river cruises.
