Chikunto is small lodge set deep in the park overlooking the meandering Luangwa River on a picturesque bend, known as the Big Bend. 

The large, airy under thatch central lodge area, as well as the individual five tented suites, are built on raised decks. Three of the five suites are double, one is a family suite and the last is a deluxe suite with a star bed platform.

Activities include game drives and walking safaris and seasonal boat cruises (Feb-May, water levels permitting).

Children: no under 6 unless on an exclusive use basis (no walking for under 12s)
