Located on the shores of Lake Mutanda, Chameleon Hill  is midday way between Bwindi Impenetrable and Mgahinga Gorilla national parks. 

The vibrant and colourful main lodge area is set on top of the hill with views over the lake and beyond and houses the lounge, bar and restaurant. There is a spa offering massages.

There are 15 rooms in 5 categories – Oldtimer, a 1978 VW kombi for the more adventurous guest; 4 classic chalets; 6 deluxe chalets; the 2 bedroom Rainbow Villa and the 2 bedroom Sunshine Villa.

Activities include gorilla treks, Golden Monkey trekking, mountain biking, nature walks, boating and canoeing on the lake, cultural experiences and hiking.
