KAYILA CAMP
Camp Mana, 15 km upstream from Nyamepi, is on a bend in the Zambezi River with a small floodplain between the camp and the main channel. It is set under a thick grove of shady sausage trees, winterthorns and mahoganies.
This is a simple back-to-basics tented seasonal camp that is completely dismantled and re-erected annually. There are 6 en-suite guest tents, and the main area is a simple under sail-canvas awning with outdoor dining.
The camp also offers a 3 night fly-camping stay in the sought after Chitake Springs (opportunities here are limited so advance notice is required to secure campsite bookings).
Activities include game drives, walking safaris and canoeing (the latter by prior arrangement).
Children: no under 12 (no under 16 on walks and canoeing)
Open: 1 April - 15 November
