Big Lagoon is located on the west bank, a few kilometres upstream from parent camp Tafika, and is only accessible on foot. The camp overlooks an extensive lagoon from the surrounding ebony forest. 

This is a small and intimate camp for just six guests in three refreshingly simple, grass-walled chalets with safari showers open to the stars. 

The walking trails - following well-worn elephant and hippo trails are accessed by crossing the river in a canoe.
