MATOPAS NATIONAL PARK

Heading 1

KAYILA CAMP

Amalinda is set in the granite boulders of the Matobo Hills, tucked away in an ancient Bushman’s shelter, uniquely built in amongst the rocks.

The lodge is on many levels with stairs connecting the rooms, lounge, dining and bar areas. The infinity rock pool, spa, library, wine cellar and sunset lounge add to the many features.

There are nine rooms, all utilising the natural rock formations as part of their decor.

The Homestead - a 3 bedroomed private thatched house is also set on the property, an exclusive use house for families or small groups.

Activities here include game drives in the very scenic national park, tracking rhino by vehicle or on foot, exploring the many historic sites of ancient nomadic San Bushman cave paintings and visiting the tomb of Cecil John Rhodes high in the granite hills.

Children: all ages welcome

Open: year round
