Located on the banks of the Luangwa River deep in the national park, the camp is set within a shady ebony grove  - Mchenja is the local name for ebony.

The camp offers five safari rooms, including a two-bedroom family room. Each features open-air en-suite bathrooms with river views and natural materials such as grass walls and soft furnishings. A pool overlooks the river.

Activities include game drives and walking safaris.

Children: no under 12 on a walking safari. Younger children on request with a private vehicle or exclusive camp use.
