Located in the Mosi Oa Tunya National Park, Zambia, Thorntree River Lodge features breathtaking scenery with river views and sightings of a variety of animals on the Zambezi River. Guests are accommodated in nine luxurious suites, all with private decks overlooking the river.

Your safari experience at this, ‘the home of the elephants’, will include on site river activities as well as elephant back safaris along the banks of the Zambezi River (at an additional cost).

Thorntree’s close proximity to Victoria Falls, means that a visit to see ‘the smoke that thunders’ is a must for every guest staying at the lodge.

Your stay at Thorntree River Lodge includes 1 activity per day from a choice of a tour of Victoria Falls, Game Drive and Sunset cruise. Over and above these, there is a wide range of activities in the Livingstone area. Thorntree is home of the elephants. Discover the beauty of the Zambezi River atop an African Elephant, the possibility of spotting game is enhanced from your elevated position on this magnificent creature.
