Located on the southern tip of Chief’s Island, Stanley’s Camp borders the southern section of the Moremi Game Reserve. This private community concession is located by definition in a seasonal delta and the floodwaters usually arrive around June. The area is home to a wide variety of big game including elephant, buffalo, giraffe, hippo, lion, leopard, cheetah and wild dog.
Stanley’s has its own registered private airstrip which is located approximately 20 minutes from the camp. The camp is accessible by air from Maun (15 minutes), Kasane (1 hour 30 minutes) and all other delta camps. Please note the luggage restriction is 20kg per person in a soft-sided bag

Each unit Set in an amphitheatre of ebony trees on the southern tip of Chief’s Island, Sanctuary Stanley’s Camp sits amidst 260,000 acres of untamed African bush. Bordering the southern section of the famous Moremi Game Reserve, Stanley’s is a small luxury camp consisting of eight classic styled safari tents, each featuring en-suite facilities and a private balcony. The main building offers expansive views over the surrounding floodplains.
